Car # 178 - Tuesday - 09/08/20


We Cleaned all the Top Blocks off and cleaned off all the brick shards and Sand

We Tore Down Car 49 to completely rebuild Car 178 because 49 was in horrible shape and beyond repair

We Replaced All of the Traling Edge Perimiter Blocks because they were all missing

We replaced all the Perimiters on car 178 with all the ones off of car 49 and installed KOA wool Expansion Joints

We replaced 3 Broken Center Supports and Re-alinged all the ones out of place

We replaced all the top block and installed KOA wool for expansion joints vertically

We Straigthened Left Front Skirt Corner so they would go through the kiln

Painted all 8 sides of all 4 of the Corner Blocks and Painted Number #178 on all 8 sides

There is allot of pictures for this one because there was to much damage to get in just a couple of shots

And cut the new Leading Edge Top Block and installed them on the car with KOA wool for expansion Joints .
