Car # 146 - Monday - 08/24/20
Car # 146 was in fair condition when we started but needed Allot of Attention
Most of the Top Block were there but had several broken Parimeter Blocks
Took all the top Block off and cleaned all the brick shards so the block could be adjusted
Replaced all the Top Block on Car with good Blocks off of several other cars
Installed KOA wool Strips for Expansion Joints to all for Pressure Reduction on Car
Set all the Top Block in Precise Position and installed KOA wool for Expansion Joints
Put 2 Expansion Joints Vertical and Horizontally to allow for block compression inside the Kiln
Replaced all broken Block on Car with good Blocks off of several other cars
Put all 48 Brick Support Block on Top and arranged them to fit the setter for Efficiency
Straightened out Left Front Bottom Skirt and Right Front Bottom Skirt so they go through the Kiln
Painted all 8 sides of all 4 of the Corner Blocks and Painted Number #146 on all 8 sides
Was told by George that the Wheels had been fixed and greased on car so no need to check them
