Car # 125 - Wednesday - 09/02/20

Car #125 We started this car on Tuesday 09/01/20 around lunch time and it was fully loaded

It was full of all the Kiln wall Blocks from inside the Kiln that was left from Repairs

It needed to be sorted good from bad broken and trash and separated onto pallets

Took us the rest of the day to sort and separate it all and we ran out of time so had to finish today

Once all the kiln block were off and gone we cleaned all the top brick pedestals off and started cleaning

All of the pedistals were still in tack and only had to replace 4 that were broken beyond use

We cleaned all the brick shards off the car and between all the tops and realigned all the top blocks

We replaced 2 broken left side perimeter blocks and the right side front corner and releveled the rest of them

The front corner was in horrible shape the block was missing and filled in with bricks to hold the top block

We replaced 1 broken Right Side perimeter block that was broken and 8 broken center support blocks

We replaced 3 missing front leading edge blocks and 4 main center top block that were broken

We replaced all the top block and installed KOA wool for expansion joints both horizontally and vertically

Put all 48 Brick Support Block on Top and arranged them to fit the setter for Efficiency

The Skirts on this car did not need straightening so we moved onto the wheels and painting

Painted all 8 sides of all 4 of the Corner Blocks and Painted Number #125 on all 8 sides

There is allot of pictures for this one because there was to much damage to get in just a couple of shots

This car is almost complete and only needs a couple of front leading edge block fixed and 8 pedistals reset to finish
